I'll be passing through Kokomo the end of this month, and I'm going to slide in and buy some glass. On my first visit to Kokomo a couple months back I didn't really know what kind of glass I wanted to buy, and I didn't want to buy glass on impulse without some forethought. Through the glass I've got from GlassCrafters and by looking at the online sample pictures at Kokomo, I've got a pretty good list together now of generic types I want.
What I am wondering about is some of the suffixes that Kokomo uses to identify their glass. I understand that some of the suffixes denote density and others denote texture. Got no problem with that. But some of the base identifiers have letters in them, too. Some are SPL, ML, X, XD, and N. Do these have some special meaning? I don't think the L or D on the end means dense or light, because when you look up the piece it will likely as not say that it is available in multiple densities, so my reckoning is that the density would be appended onto the base identifier and the letters in it.
Thank you, Michael
