looking for Glass blower to make 40 lampshades for me.

Dear Glass blower,

I am looking for a glass blower to make 40 hollow balls for me at size

100 +/- 2 mm. in diameter. Thickness max 5 mm. +/-1 With an hole in the buttom at 51 +/- 1 mm

-There will be 3 layers of glass one inside that is OPAL

-Next layer clear glass

-An outer green layer of powder before blowing.

It is ok that you use a mold in graphite, wood, plaster or make the lampshade in freehand.

I need the glass balls before APRIL 2006.

i also need a hole in the top at 6 mm. what would be the charge for that?

Soren, The price I gave would not include shipping. The drilled hole would cost another $25.00 per fixture. I would want a template, a full size drawing of the profile of the piece, to make sure we made it as close to your specifications as possible.

Soren, There is a Kugler distributer in New York City. However, let me also give you the web address of a very good source for color. They carry just about everything that is made, and the way their color samples are displayed it makes it easy to see what the different manufactures are produceing.
