Mosaic on a Stucco Wall?

I've got an existing stucco wall that runs along my pond, about 3 feet high. Is there a way to attach glass in a mosaic pattern to put, say, a few Koi or something along the wall?

I could do things like stepping stones and hang them on the wall, but would rather do something more 'integrated.'

Thanks for ideas!

I don't see why you couldn't cut out your glass and silicone it in place on the stucco....maybe not even grout it......grind the edges VERY smooth in case you bump into them doing pond maintenance......

Don't drop any silicone in the water, it can screw up the water chemistry (drop the pH way low) if sufficient amounts get into the water before it finishes curing...

You can use tile cement for a permanent bond. Clean the area of wall you wish to mosaic thoroughly with a wire brush and water, (assuming it's not painted; if it is, you need to remove the paint for this to work) then follow the mixing instructions on a bag of tile cement (the sort used in wet/dry applications like applying shower tile) and apply your mosaic. Work in small sections at a time; you don't have long to mess with the wet cement. Let it cure, grout it, and you will have a permanent wall mosaic. You can get more detailed instructions from a book; I've seen several beginning mosaic-making guides that looked good.
