I own a studio in Nashua, NH. My vision was to provide a space that caters to all related mediums, metalwork, beadwork, polymer clay, chainmaille, glasswork and art clay(PMC). Today, my vision is a reality. My background is in silversmithing and jewelry making. I started in glass with a course taken at Queen City Lampworks(queencitylampworks.com), with Kevin and Jason, which totally hooked me into the glass. They work in mainly boro. They are both incredible glass artists. Check out the butterflies.

From then on, I was in to glass. I took other classes with Jaqui

Lawton (sandpiperbeads.com), who works primarily with Moretti. What an incredible medium! Loving the lampworking, the beads...She is also teaching an intro lampworking course at my studio. I then was fortunate enough to meet Denis Labbe (dlgglass.com). A very talented fusing artist, but also, a very patient and talented teacher. Denis and I just completed a full class of future fusing artists workshop this weekend. How different every vision is... I am totally obsessed with the fusing... I teach jewelry making, beginner and intermediate, but I feel the glass taking over- I am fusing non-stop- I am embedding coper and silver wire ( a specialty of mine) hate the look of high temp wire... any suggestions?

Yes. If you want to post a link to somebody's website post the entire address on a line of it's own and it will appear as a clickable link.

Just like the one below.

Try some copper mesh and some patterns in .002 copper sheet. Make sure the copper is completely covered by glass on top.

Thanks for the info-obviously I'm a little techno impaired. I will try the copper mesh tomorrow when I have some time to work in the studio, I'll let you know how it turns out. Thanks, Carla
