Any filing should be shown on the US Bankruptcy court's (for that particular district) website.

Chapt 11 means that the company has plans to keep operating, and the debt will somehow be restructured (or forgiven). Chapter 7 would mean that they are planning on shutting down and liquidating.

Retail glass is dead only if you believe so. There are many things my company has been doing and new things we will do in the glass field. However, we are not limited to the glass field. As always we continue to look for new markets.

Yes it's true W-C filed for Chapter 11, but of no significance to our customers which is why we didn't make an announcement. In filing Chapter 11 we've joined such well known companies as Donald Trumps casinos which filed for Chapter 11 last month. Actually in our case the difficulties are legal issues and attorney costs as much as anything else. This shouldn't be surprising because I've gone through a particularly nasty, expensive, multi-year divorce which officially ended only a few months ago. Our corporate attorneys and accountants of

20-some years are collectively writing off a significant amount of money but will continue to represent W-C and have complete confidence in W-C through this legal process.

In the next few weeks there might be some inventory shortages and possibly some dramatic markdowns of overstocks and slow selling inventory-something our accountants have been telling us to do for years.

Warner-Crivellaro will continue to be what it has been for 35 years-The Destination for Stained Glass.

Thanks to everyone for their many kind, supportive comments. Charles Warner President, Warner-Crivellaro

Please tell us what are your new things planned are Charles? Sorry I should have been more specific Andy and Charles... the mom and pop SG retailer is dying a quick death is what I meant. The only retailers that are holding their heads above water are the net sellers that have low overheads, and the wholesalers that are selling to the retail market.
