A lot if you go all the way back to the guy who is digging the clay for the fire bricks for the kiln that can't be shipped because the controllers aren't ready because the US Army is hogging all the semiconductors because the Arabs are blowing up stuff in the Middle East...;

David K. . . . . . .

I don't know if you have received enough info about Dennis Brady, but if not . . .

Here is the latest example of his rather slippery concept of truth. Read the whole thread, right to the end:

Strangely on checking one of the links above there came up a thread with a glowing reference for Mr Brady:

I just searched for Victorian Art Glass as suggested and up it came!! I have also come across other less complimentary postings as you point out. I am trying to keep a balanced perpsective on all of this. Having been in business for 30+ years with close to 20 of them as a glass engraver of small awards & trophies etc I think relationships are extremely important as is the quality and standard of workmanship.

In my experience people who treat customers badly or deliver shoddy workmanship seldom survive - not rocket science I know.

Occasionaly there will be disagreement (human nature). You can rest assured that if you 'cross' someone they will tell 10 people about the disservice while if you do well you'll be lucky if they tell one or two.

If Mr Brady is a bad as this group suggests he may not last that long. On the other hand if he does survive he might, just might, be doing something right inspite of what some of the members of this group post.

I have no axe to grind either way.

Thanks to all who took the time to respond. It was all pretty rational with only a small amount of name calling.

Later ......

David
