OK, I feel that this crew will appreciate my weird "where I found a needle stuck" story. As some may know, I've been crashing stithing almost non-stop to finish some proposal pieces, etc. DH even moved up a table into the family room so that I could work there with accoutrement spread out - it's not great interior décor, but it works. So, to the needle point, the magnet wand has had plenty of use as things flip down onto the hardwood, and want to roll into the cracks, so to speak. The other night, as we had finally gotten around to dinner, I felt a sort of poke, thinking I had dropped food on myself, or who knew what. Didn't see anything on the shirt, besides the requisite thread tails all over. Oh well. Another little kind of itch, nothing fell out, so thought just me. Yesterday, as I'm collecting up laundry, I pick up a bra, and as I'm putting it into a lingerie bag see a shiny thing "Huh?" Take another look, seems like a staple top showing on the inside "Huh?" Yup, the bra is one of those t-shirt seamless with some slight contouring to it. Stuck into one of the cups is a needle - right in the middle. Can't see the eye end, or the point - only the middle section showing. Weird -took a bit to pull it out. Guess that was the poke I felt. Now I'm trying to figure out how on earth a needle fell down my shirt, and then embedded itself into the layering of a bra. Such is the life of a stitcher...or something like that.
