cross-stitch jewelry

Hi all, was thinking of making something different with cross-stitch. Imagine:

A circular piece, 14 by 14 stitches and about 1,5 inches in diameter. When it's done I will clip it so there will be 3 extra rows of 14 count aida on each side. I would bend these back and fasten them with double-sidid tape, then put some vliselin on the back.

Think it would work?

I assume you are making a pendant? I'd mount it on to some sort of stiffener, like a piece of plastic canvas and stitch the backing on. I'll even mail an envelope sized piece if you need it...

is 2,5 cm in diameter, so it's the actual size. I don't have abroach needle small enough, hehe. I ended up folding the fabric and fastening it with double-sided tape, then ironed vlieselin on the back.

Thanks for the offer, but we have them at the store (I work at a hobby shop). I'm thinking of doing others, with themes. If you want one, just give me 3 dmc colors that you like...

How about a ladybug - or at least those colors....

And have you thought about attaching a bail to make a pendant?

I got two more orders today from collegues, both broaches. Although sturdy, they are still too light for pendants. Good idea tho, about the ladybugs
