DH threw out my pattern!!

I'm working on a birth sampler for my expected little one (in November) and my rather sweet DH accidentally threw out my original pattern!! It was part of a Bucilla kit but I had purchased it on Ebay because I was buying lots of moon and star stuff for the nursery and came across this as well. It's called Mr. Moon and Me Birth Sampler. Any ideas on what I could do other than go out and buy an entirely new kit? I already found that 123Stitch has it on sale this week....so I could order from them if I had to, I suppose. But I really only need the pattern as I have all the other materials.

Have you tried emailing Bucilla about a replacement? It might be worth a try....

Good luck!

If that doesn't work, send DH in person to do some begging. {VBEG}

Yes, I echo that statemtn. I had a simlar problem with a Liesure Arts kit (they actually enclosed the wrong symbols chart in teh kit - it only listed

18 colors and the kit had 28... and the symbols were different than on the kit), which is now put out by JanLynn... asked for the correct chart & they sent it.... then I *lost* it and they sent a *second* replacement... at *no* cost to me!!!

And prompt. I bought a felt applique xmas stocking that was missing the sequins, beads and thread pack. It was discontinued and they couldn't provide the thread (no never mind); the sequins and beads arrived within a week.

So it wouldn't make a difference that I purchased the kit on Ebay? I thought for sure that would make it difficult or something......hmm. Ok - let me give a try to contacting them and see what they say.

Thanks so much for the suggestion everyone! Nadia

They don't need to know that. For all they know, you've had it since it was first issued and only now started stitching it.

Sorry to reply to my own post - but, I took all your advice and I called them (and held my breath for them tell me purchases from Ebay don't count!).

My pattern's in the mail to me!! Thank you so much for the great advice!

Man, am I relieved.......one less thing to worry about having to go to the store for with this baby kicking the daylights out of me. :o) Nadia
