Well, I'm off to the hardware store soon. I have to get that closet rod to put up in the guest bedroom so I have somewhere to hang the baggies of floss. I have unpacked one of the boxes which contains some of my needlework supplies. I'm wondering what I was thinking when I packed this stuff!!! I don't think I brought an of my books of xs designs, no aida, no beads..... I did bring all of my Kreinik fibers and loads of scissors and a bunch of Christmas kits. I have to stitrch something small for the SMDGDS's tree skirt and I don't think I have a suitable design! The design needs to be 3" diameter max. I can't get something online because I have no way of printiong anything. I *might* have a little Christmas card kit that I brought that will work if I shorten it a bit. I still have several boxes to unpack but I'm pretty sure they are clothing and other personal stuff. There is absolutely nothing on the mountain in the way of a craft shop other than Wally World which is a 40 minute drive. No way am I making the trip to see if they have anything suitable! Not in the middle of June would I expect to find anything even remotely related to Christmas, let alone something small enough for the tree skirt. I don't think I brought any aida either but I do have some evenweave (thanks to Janet, my stitchin' buddy). Fortunately I will be going back to Magnoliaville for some dental work and to go to my Needlework Group meeting in late August. If I don't have a suitable design for the tree skirt, I will bring the booklet I usually use. And some aida, too! I did bring the ric-rac I use to cover the cut edges of the fabric and the template I use to cut the stitched aida to size. If I brought the design booklet, it should have been in the same box. But then that would mean I had packed stuff with some sort of logical plan -- LOLOL! Oh well -- if this is the least of my worries, I figure I am doing pretty good :-). CiaoMeow >^;;^<
