Floor Stand Help Update

Just figured I'd check in again and let you all know I have received my Erg o Floor Stand. I ordered it the same day as someone on here, (forgive me, I forget who) recommended it to me and it arrived last week. I haven't eve n been able to try it out yet as I've been working on a Christening Gown, c rocheted, for my first granddaughter due next month. (after 4 grand-boys, s he is definitely gonna be spoiled). However, I did find the communication between this company and their customer to be greatly lacking. Because you have to pay through PayPal, I thought the company would have let me know wh en they received my order, however it wasn't until I contacted them to find out if they even received my order that they informed me that they had. Af ter about 4 1/2 weeks I had to contact them again to ask when I could expec t delivery, and was told they were on vacation and my order would be shippe d the day after they returned, which it was, but since they had the money f or 4 1/2 weeks, why couldn't they ship it before they left for vacation? I do hope the floor stand last a long time cause I dread the idea of having t o work with them again. Just my two cents.

The law in the US has always been that they cannot charge your credit card until they ship the product, and if they cannot ship within 30 days of receiving your order, they must advise you of the delay.

I would definitely report them to both the Better Business Bureau in their area and the Federal Trade Commission.

Karen C...I think that's why they only take PayPal as form of payment. I d on't like using PayPal because of the fact that the money goes directly to them after the order is made. I'm just glad I received the stand as I have ordered items using paypal before and never received the product I ordered. :( Live and learn.
