Happy Christmas to those who celebrate...

Happy Christmas all and I hope those who aren't necessarily christian are planning a nice festive meal. I have broken tradition here and the smell wafting in from a lovely four rib standing beef roast is starting to get through to me lol

Did stay with a traditional Xmas pud though - any minute now - the onslaught.

Be joyful and for those of you, who like me find Xmas difficult because of deaths etc, it will soon be over.

I broke with tradition too - we had lasagna and Caesar salad then some creme caramel for dessert and a sip or two of nice red wine. I saved a turkey. :-)

Yes one year here we were mid-storm and I recall cooking like mad, making them eat fast and go and 'phone when they arrived safely home. It was not nice and is one reason I like a 'green' Christmas, less danger on the roads.
