Happy, happy, joy, joy

For the soon to be born grand babies, I embroidered up a passel of wall art. Now that the giftees have seen them in person, you can see electronic representations of my materpieces by clicking on the Baby Boutique links on A Noah's Ark project will be completed with names and date of birth after the girls are born.

Wow, wow, and wow! I am impressed with both the number of things you have done and, as always, with the quality of your work and creativity. What lucky grandgirls!

Is that the TW Noah's Ark? I did that one for my younger DGD, then let the pattern go, but would love to do it again for my new DGS. Any hope of getting it..... anyone?

Very cute - you've been busy!

Love the punchneedle description. The lady who teaches at the shop, is a hoot, and would agree - though she does amazingly "fine" work with PN.

I used Precious Moments Two by Two as the basis for Ark and some of the punch needle work. There wasn't a lot of fine details to worry about when I converted the designs to surface and punch needle embroidery. Here's a link to the leaflet:

VERY nice!

You're right about the punch needle being rather mindless except when you have to thread the thing.

Or, when you forget it is not a dull tapestry needle and get your hand / finger / thigh in the way!
