Long weekend with a tiny bit of S.E.X.

Where to start, where to start... Well, Thursday I kitted up "Herbal Essence" (SP Ink). Why - most likely because it's bright and cheery. As much as I am enjoying doing "Ladybug and Bumblebees", it's bit brown right now and the major snow fall is making me NUTS. And it could be because HE will be totally washable and since I've got cracked skin on my fingers and knuckles....

Friday - I had the whole gang home at various points. DS drove home from college as "I had to move the car for lot maintenance and I needed some food". DD was home sick. And DH had his "Off Friday". Didn't get much done stitching or reading wise.

Saturday, at the lovely hour of 6:15 AM, DD and I drove off to Kimball Union Academy for a 9 AM game. Got up there is good time, found the local "Country Store" which had fresh, hand made donuts and fresh coffee. Decent game. Drove home over Methodist Hill Road, which among other things is a fun drive and has beautiful views. Stopped in Grantham for coffee and a quick walk around ABC Stitch Therapy. They didn't have the chart I wanted in stock, but I did find some silks in the bargain bin of flosses. One is Impressions in Natural, the other is Stitches and Spice in Fairy Forest. Got home to some yucky weather, went back out to a team bonding to watch a local college women's hockey game. Went home and hung out for a bit and then drove to Andover MA for a 8:40 PM middle school game and caught up on all the local hockey gossip. And got a good laugh when a parent complained their team got beat by a team with GIRLS. Hey there were only two, it's just that some of the boys do have helmet hair. Drove home through thunder and lightning and sleet. Unwound by exploring the new releases on Hoffmans, Norden etc and checking a few blogs.

Two more games on Sunday - a win and tie - but no massive driving.

Weekend results - 3-0-1 for games, 0 stitching time, maybe an hour of reading...

Off to have breakfast,

Cheryl
