I take back every nasty thing I ever said about my DH & DFIL! This past week DH made me a beautiful floor stand that swivels around, lowers to my lap in ANY chair, and can accomodate any piece up to 4' W X 2' H. Then last night DFIL phoned and invited us out for supper. This is VERY unlike the I-Ls! Out we went. DH had told DFIL three weeks or so ago that I was acting like Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde since I can't stitch, but we can't afford a new mag-lite for me, so my stitching days were over. Can all you stitchers hear the very loud crash of silence this statement brought on? So as soon as we walked in the door at I-Ls last night, DFIL pulled me into the frontroom and presented me with a new dazor complete with stand that he's just bought for me! Sorry if this sounds like a brag, 'cause it's not meant to, but to get a floor stand AND a lamp all in one week is something I wouldn't normally see even at Christmas! I'm floating on air today and after stitching until 1:00 a.m. last night, I'm planning on getting back at it in a few minutes. Sure hope the fam damily doesn't expect me to be a social part of them for this next week! :))
