A new book has just come through our library that looks rather interesting. It's called, "The needlecraft style directory" by Sarah Whittle (ISBN 9781438001036), "a visual reference of over 50 needlecraft styles and the stitches that go with them." It has pretty good stitch diagrams and lists stitches that are used for different types of needlework. Here's a link to Amazon:
