Not OT: Good season tidings in advance?!?

This is just another one of those "it can only happen to me" moments. Now, I have been happily alternating between projects to ensure that I am always stitching something. This afternoon, I decided to pull my ornie stitching bag outdoors to work as I watch my DS play. The durn oppressive humidity had finally broken for my area. My ornie bag is my nice, portable outdoor option and I have been steadily plugging away on my TW "12 Days". Have 9 days done and am rounding up on Day 10. So, I am sitting in my fold-away chair nestled in my frontyard. A gentle breeze is blowing, rustling the overhanging branches of my "don't know whatsis Asian" tree, creating a nice dappled forest glade effect. Wonderful to stitch and relax by... The neighborhood cats are scampering thru the yard, DS is playing with whatever sets his fancy, and the birds are flitting from branch to branch as they sing their season's song... Rapturous. I am stitching my over-one border leaf groupings and a shadow jumps overhead. Next thing I know, I have this weird grayish matter on the edge of my linen by my adjoining scroll bar. What?!? I swear, a *#@* bird pooed on my Country French linen!!!! Thankfully, it was only the edge by my serging line. If the d@#mn thing had connected on or near any stitched areas, there would hell to pay!!! Now, I have heard that bird poo on you is supposed to bode good fortunes, but on stitching. I wonder as far the prices I might pay for any good luck?

Nope, no mulberry trees in my immediate area that I am aware of. Aside from that, the solid-ish matter (not too bad of a sploosh thankfully; small birds?) was chucked easily enough. Now I just have this grayish tinge where it contacted. I am not too worried as these are stitched as individual ornies and that area will probably be cut away during the finishing process. Any other outcome, I'd be hunting bird!!!
