Not quite S.E.X - but close

After an hour of sitting around at the dealer waiting on an oil change, I treated myself to a brief visit to a local consignment shop with an eclectic image - OPUS (other people's used stuff) in Manchester.

Spent a grand total of $4 on bangle, a strand of semiprecious chips in labadorite and a crocheted purse. The purse will be lined and become a stash bag. And I'll re-string the chips....

Fun C

Sounds like a good move - no planting here. Ark building might be though

No planting here yet. And fortunately we dodged the ark building. OTOH they're predicting close to 80 for the weekend. This after frost this am.

Speaking of crocheted purses, a lady at church has been clearing out her sewing/craft stuff and I'm the lucky recipient of much of it. Fun to see, and DD *loved* the pile of 1970s-era double knits I "inherited."

Last week she brought me some craft goodies that included a booklet of instructions for crocheted purses (mostly clutches) and hats, circa

1940s. First person who wants it and emails me can have it! Fun to look at; personally, I didn't find it inspiring, fashion-wise. Though maybe with some of today's colors/materials, it could be redeemed.
