Thank you for the responses!! I think I found a way to get off this leash DW has me on. LOL Doing the best that I can with what I got left - sorta - first task on picking up a needle or should I say exacto knife was to frog over

1500 stitches that I did long time ago when I thought that I knew all there was to cross stitching. Grrr.

YIKES! That's a lot of frogging, even with an exacto knife!!! What design is it on?

Use a seam ripper instead! Less chance of catching the fabric

Excellent suggestion, Cheryl! I bet Margery has one around the house somewhere. Though, whether or not she'll let Freddyboy get his hands on it is anyone's guess! lolol

I like the pointy type exacto blade. I nip the top of the cross stitch and then use a needle to pickout the threads. The nipping part is quite simple, lay the exacto blade flat, insert the pointy end under the stitch and the rotate the blade until the sharp part faces upwards and cuts through the stitch. The sharp part doesn't get anywhere near the ground fabric so it can't cut it.
