OT: Belated B-day for Janet

I am a BAAAAD Friend lately!!! Tuesday was my stitchin' buddy Janet's B-day (for those who don't remember, Janet is the Artistic Director for Just Cross Stitch and used to live just a few miles from me). I spent the whole day thinking I was forgetting to do something or go somewhere, etc. It wasn't until yesterday when I looked at the calendar and saw it was the 13th that I realized it was her B-day I was trying to remember! I've just been so focused on getting the house and yard ready to be put on the market that everything else sort of got lost in the shuffle. Anyway, let's all take a deep breath and sing her a belated Happy Birthday. CiaoMeow >^;;^<

Thanks for the birthday wishes. It was just another day. I do think that we need a federal law that no one has to work on their birthday. Hey, we have laws for everything else; why not that?

Chiming in with a belated best wishes for a happy birthday - just celebrate now! FWIW, my DH apparently has made it a rule that he never works on his B-day. It's just one of those things. I tend to ignore mine - except for the rule that I don't cook that night.....

OOOPS -- got her title wrong. I can NEVER remember what her new title is. I just know she's about the only one at JCS who **really** stitches so she gets to make decisions about all the artistic aspects of needlework related to the magazine. Your birthday is a holiday where I work. Almost all hospitals give it as a holiday.
