OT: Feeling warm

DD wanted some peaches this morning for snack. So I gave her the last out of the current jar. In the refrigerator were two older jars that had nothing but peach syrup left in them. So I decided to strain out the solids and combine the jars. Hmmm, the syrup won't all fit in one jar but there wasn't enough leftover to bother with a second jar so I'll just drink it. HEY! This old stuff is fermenting! Warned DH not to give any to DD and now I have some yummy for later. Not too sure how the leftover I had this morning will interact with the cephalexin and guifenesin/pseudoephedrine prescriptions I'm on this week ... but feeling pretty good now! :-)

I'm beginning to feel "pretty good" myself right now, d id the ER thing yesterday afternoon, got "snowed" and was ordered to stay home from work today and take the "cocktail" of migraine stuff to see if at least getting some sleep will equip me to cope better. If not at least I get a day that's relatively painfree and floaty!

You are too funny! Take a nap, don't have more fermented peach cider with the drugs. And feel better, of course.

I'll bet you're feeling good. MANY moons ago, I drank some cider that had gone 'hard' with my allergy meds. Oh my word, I was so out of it....

The buzz wore off in a couple of hours so no harm done. DD probably wishes she could have a little of it. The pediatrician gave her 4 vaccinations today so she is a very unhappy little camper. And all she got was an orange popsicle.

Poor baby - the kids' pediatrician always started shot appointments with Tylenol. Comfort was important.... DS still hates them though. DD was fine last time.
