OT: Help! Fabric paint flub!

Ok, so I'm mad as hell. I got white fabric paint on my black suit pants on Easter and I didn't really notice it until it was already dry. Is there any way to safely remove it? I've looked around the internet a bit, but I want to make darn sure I'm using a method that won't ruin or otherwise discolor the fabric in the process. My suit is(was?) brand new--I've only worn these pants twice and I need them for job interviews. Sure, I could probably substitute an unmatching pair of black pants (these ones have been clearanced out already), but....I want these ones! Someone here has to have the answer, you guys know everything!

They're a polyester/rayon/spandex. It sounds awful, but they hang perfectly! They're not much of a monetary loss, mostly an emotional one because they're the only size 4 pants I've ever owned in my entire life!! Ok, they only fit because of the spandex, but considering I was 100 pounds overweight my entire adult life, I'm fairly tickled to see that number. I scratched at it a bit tonight, and I think if I keep at it I can eventually chip it all off. A stiff bristled brush might help that along. I'm celebrating my 40th BD this weekend (a month early), and I really wanted to wear them. :-( Drat it all to hell....

Yeah, that's what I told myself too in the beginning. But then it just kept going and going. Technically, I'm an 8, that's what makes this 4 so

*special*. LOL

Great idea!! I'll have to try that just as soon as I get back from my weekend getaway.

Try a tooth brush but nothing harder than that.

Size 4 - I'll be happy to see size 14 again.

What about putting them in the freezer ? Then it would almost break off more easily. Just a thought, works with chewing gum.

If you can't get it all off and there's still some showing, you could get some black fabric paint and paint carefully over the spots. At least it wouldn't be real noticeable.
