OT - Sandy - the morning after

it's 5:40 AM - and it seems calm outside.

Won't know what's what until daylight, but appears my nailed place compost bin flew away in the night!

Here it's just more leaves off the trees. They've already canceled the flood watch although the Mon Wharf is closed to parking. And it's still raining although not as hard and as windy as last night.

Alls well down here in MA. Our max wind gust was 67 mph. We have a bunch of trees down on our road, but not our property. We only have several large branches down or dangeling that we'll need to take care of. I had to detour a few times going into work this morning due to trees down or flooded roads, but all in all not to bad. Based on stories and photos I am getting from family and friends in NYC, Long Island, RI, and NJ it's horrible down there. Luckily all of them are fine. Their properties are damaged, but that can be fixed. It's going to be a while till they are back to normal.
