DH got back from 3 days in New Orleans last night. This AM he heard from the guys working there saying they had LOADS of snow overnight! One of the guys lives north of Lake P. and he had SIX inches of snow. It was so slippery, he had to wait for the sun to melt the snow before he could get out of his driveway and get to work. So -- I'm wondering how Olwyn Mary is doing? Lots of needlework time for her today -- assuming she still had heat and power, etc. Who knows WHAT could happen with that much snow in a place where it just doesn't usually snow at all??? The guys told DH that the last time they had snow was about 4 or 5 years ago and it wasn't as much as this storm dropped. I'm waiting patiently for O.M. to show up and give us an update. I'm also waiting for the storm to get here -- maybe we'll get a bit of snow out of it. Who knows, we've had rain for at least 36 hours now but it's been warm
-- high 50's or low 60's so it will have to cool off a LOT!!! CiaoMeow >^;;^<
