Project You're Excited to Start but Haven't Started Yet

The fall issue of Sampler and Antique Needlework Quarterly has Martina Dey's Tsunami Relief sampler in it. Instead of using Vicky Clayton's silks, I kitted up with Crescent Colours. I still need to pick fabric, but this project is fairly shouting at me to start now.

And won't be able to start for a while. :(

I will be adapting LizardGumbo's new lovely lady to teal, and although I've pulled the floss, I have Christmas and birthdays to deal with first, because she's for me.

I have Pam Davenport's "SIsters" in my next to do list. First, I have to finish a Christmas present for my aunt that I put the first stitches in last night. Then I have to get right on this as it is a Christmas present for a friend.

I'm doing my best not to listen to the siren call of my wanna-do's. I just don't have room. But I plan to start buying yarn for a group of Beth Russel projects soon, including a rug and several pillows for the living room. I'm in a bit of a quandry as to whether I want to start with the rug (I'm going to have laminate floors next year) or the pillows, for which I already have canvas.

1) Martina Weber's Egyptian Garden. I have promised myself I will not start it until I have finished two current WIP's - a stumpwork piece (60% complete) and a cross-stitch piece (40% complete).

2) Third test for EGA's Master Craftsman >The fall issue of Sampler and Antique Needlework Quarterly has Martina

The next thing on my list after I finish up the little odds and ends I'm working on is a fancy old world map kit by Janlynn. I'm excited to start because I'll get to use the q-snaps my family sent to me from home for my birthday a few month ago. And I have a serious thing for old world maps.

But where to hang it when I'm (eventually) done? Becky

Tell me, all of you, what do you typically do with the creations once you've finished? Gifts? Hang them on your own walls? Slather the sofa and bed with elegant pillows? Becky indicated her walls may be getting full. This is a dreadful problem!

Actually, I don't have a clue what I want to do next. It's really weird. I'm leaning towards some blackwork something, but no idea what.
