So is plastic surgery but I wouldn't want my doctor to be watching a soap opera while he's sewing me up. LOL

You're right that it's all needlework but I believe most people do put knitting and crocheting into a separate category. As a matter of fact if you look on most web sites they have separate departments for knitting and/or crocheting yarns, needles and instructions and floss, fabric and charts for embroidery.

Separate departments on a given web site, or in a store, makes perfect sense. But it's all needlework, and those of us who understand that can help explain it to the rest. I was only kidding around, anyway.

Earlier this morning I was reading a guild site regarding burden stitch. Part of it was worded something akin to: ". . . worked on plain weave or an evenweave . . ." Whoever authored that should do some research. Dianne
