Sewing/Basting fabric to scroll bars

I am just having a heck of a time with this. Any secrets to making it easier? I feel like I have 2 left hands (or two right hands!)

Don't baste, use safety pins!

Pin one corner, then the other. Then put a pin in the middle. Then decide if you need more pins.

Thanks... Karen, I guess the pins aren't too bulky or you wouldn't be using them. Next time I will try the straight pins to hold it while I baste it on. DW has a sewing machinge buts its buried most of the time (incuding now).

Bag it and use qsnaps.

I hates qsnaps, I does.

Bag 'em and stitch in hand, unless there's cut work involved. I have a set of LocScrolls that don't involve basting.

Thanks. I have a set of EZ Stitch scroll bars with the velcro and that works pretty well.

I use Qsnaps, I use my scroll rods, I use a hoop or work in hand.... Depends...

Yep--That answer is definitely correct for me too. I change like the weather.

Some good ideas here I like the machine stitch one the best. Next garage season pick up a cheap used sewing machines. actually the hand held shown on tv would do all you need. nanc

Now there's an idea ... if we wore Depends while stitching, we wouldn't have to get up so often. ;)

Do you think they would let a Depends wearer carrying a sharp object into a jail cell? After all, an astronaut tried that and wound up arrested.

Oh brother!

I am now beet red.

Mind you, I could have used the Depends this AM - I was laughing so hard, I thought I would wet myself

Funny Lucille - has there been anymore about her ? As in a trial or whatever. When there is, do keep me posted, I am really curious trying to imagine a woman who had it all just chucking it away like that!!

They just released e-mails from her to him, and from the other woman to him. Apparently, the ones with the OW were far more explicit.

Sometimes - do you need it? I'll toss it my bag for tomorrow. Just little stuff right now and that is in hand... C

If she hasn't come to trial, how come they are releasing anything like that ?
