Silk Floss Exchange - Part Two

The original swap with Caron's Waterlilies was terrific -- thanks ladies for participating. However, well, I'd like to do it again -- this time with STRANDED silks (versus the twisted stuff)

I've got 6 colors (9 skeins) and was thinking (don't worry; it'snot usually dangerous) that I'd like to do another swap. However, there is a "hitch" -- mine are OLD (think 100 YEARS or so) and that means matching isn't going to work for you. You're not going to be able to go to the store and pick up skeins of Richardson's filo silk for ten cents (wish Auntie had bought loads more!!!) so... Anyway, I'll understand completely if you'd prefer to do a swap with the new floss only -- I do have one skein of Eterna Stranded in cream color...

What I'd *prefer* however is to do what we did before: You'll send in your silk floss on bobbins (please measure 36"/1 yard) with the name/number or what you know written on the bobbin. I'll trade (one for one) for you so you'll have more colors. So, if you send in 4 bobbins each of two colors (think 8 total) I'll trade for 8 other bobbins of silk floss. At this point I can only guarantee 6 colors as that's what I've got -- and please note that 5 of these are old (no fading/had been stored in tissue paper and are a-okay) however your chances of matching and buying more are two: slim and fat. ;)

Interested? Please write - snipped-for-privacy@gmail.com - telling me how many bobbins and colors you'd like to send. As before, let me share with you my eBay feedback reputation (I know I wouldn't send off my perfectly good floss to just "anyone" so...) Me:

Oh, and a couple of mine are for certain Richardson's but I don't know the number. Anyway, I'd love to play again -- anyone care to join me in a stranded silk floss exchange? And no, you don't have to have 100 year old floss

-- I just like the colors and hope you won't mind my old stuff. (smile)
