Stash-busting

As y'all know, I've been cleaning out and stash-busting. Rather than post a complete list here for all the world to see for all eternity, I've posted a list in the "file" area of r.c.t.n. Stop in over there, have a gander, and let me know if you're interested in anything before I jettison it all entirely.

It's all offered for free, but if you would reimburse the postage, I'd be grateful!

If anyone in the group is not already listed in r.c.t.n. and would like to see the list, you may either email me privately for a list or sign up on r.c.t.n. - and you'll also see all the glorious photos of work done by members of this group! Just identify yourself as "Whatshername from r.c.t.n." in the subject line when you sign up, so the moderator knows you from a spambot. It's our "secret handshake"!

What a good idea. My stash of magazines and books has been steadily added to by others who when clearing their houses of craft related objects kindly give them to me. Naturally I could say no, but that is not in my blood. I've had good intentions of what to do with this mountain of books and magazines, but they never came to fruition. My golden opportunity arrived

2 weeks ago when some one I work with was collecting books and specialty magazines for their children's school fete. I donated 3 large tubs of books and magazines, and in doing so realized that almost all of this material was stuff that had been given to me - no wonder I felt like it was going to take over my life. I've not gone back to clean up the boook shelves where it all came from, but I am sure I will feel better about that when I do.

Now if the school would have a fete with fabric as its theme I could probably de-stash a small mount Everest of that too....

I messed up. It's on the r.c.t.n.p. yahoo group...check the files area over there.

If you're not a member of r.c.t.n.p., Sheena will let you in if you identify yourself as a member of r.c.t.n.

Sorry for the confusion. (I can't believe I forgot to "P"!)
