Looking for a glaze color

I need a glaze recipe for a very deep midnight blue and also a dark forest green, both in gloss for cone 6 stoneware. They will be used on stoneware that will most likely be exposed to the weather.

I've been working with "Mastering Cone 6 Glazes" with good results, but am too green myself to know which oxides and how much to use for these colors. I assume cobalt carbonate and copper carbonate respectively, but I get a sense these might not produce the deep, pure colors I need. If anyone has any advice I'd much appreciate it. Many thanks,

Fred

Cobalt Oxide at about 0.8 percent produces a very strong blue that you might want to temper with about 3 % Rutile.

Cobalt Carbonate will require a higher percentage, and since I haven't used that I will leave it to someone else to recommend a value.

Copper Carbonate at about 3 % will give a strong green.
