Thanks for the heads-up, Lee! Could you give us some general pointers regarding similarities and differences with Clayart? Or with this newsgroup, for that matter? Is Clay Craft moderated? If so, is it "tight" or "loose" about topics,or whatever? I guess part of my question could be phrased as "why Clay Craft, and not just posting here or on Clayart?".

For what it's worth, I have never seen the advantages of a list over a newsgroup, as such. I find newsgroups to be much more convenient to use, but I also get the Clayart list (as digest) since there is so much more participation. Then I skim through the subjects and skip whatever doesn't interest me, or has been ridden to death. Saves having the in-box clogged with 100 extra emails every day.
