The best way is to stop them occuring in the first place. Try vibrating, tapping , knocking,etc, your mould just after pouring the cement. This should bring any bubbles to the surface and prevent the pock marks forming. Andy
My neighbor is making his own gecko cement blocks for a patio he is creating. I watched him Friday poor the cement into the molds. He created a shaker table with some kind of electric drill or sander set upside in this table. It works great. Just a few seconds and the small pebbles on the cement slowly sank into the mix. Maybe you could check that outl.
