Slightly translucent white beer barrel styled mug

Dear All,
Could anybody help identity this item for me?  It is quite heavy
and I believe is made of some kind of ceramic and not a plastic material.
It's material is slightly translucent, unlike the porcelain mugs are
usually made of and I don't *believe* it is glazed either.  It has an oval
shaped, blue printed-on illustration of a medieval drinking scene.  Here
are some photos, taken under slightly yellow lighting conditions I'm
afraid.

Could anyone tell me: Are these mugs available anywhere?  Do you know what
material it is made of and what glue (PVA, superglue, something else)
should be used for repairs?

Many thanks
Tom Crane.

Ps. The email address in the header is just a spam-trap.
