But what does this have that quilter'scache does not? I mean, if you click on one of the block names, it takes you to quilter's cache!

From my POV it is not what it has that quilter's cache does not, but the other way around. It does not have horribly bad obnoxious midis. So if you look at as a way of getting to the blocks without having to remember to mute your sound first, it is a very good thing. (G)

I have never heard anything from QuiltersCache, but then my Firefox is probably set not to download such things. Maybe there is a setting in your browser so you don't have to mute your sound?

If I remember correctly, doesn't Marcia draw some of her OWN blocks and have a group of Testers see if she has written the directions for making it correctly? I may be wrong. That is one main difference. Quilt-bus has a lot of the 'old-timey' bloc patterns.

I keep BOTH places on my Fav List whenever I want to double check a pattern.

Not all the links on the quiltbus site links to quilter's cache, but most of them seem to do so.

I always thought that it is a bit odd to have a webpage of links into one (mostly) other site - this doesn't just happen with quilting patterns, it is quite common on the web. Still, a bit odd in my mind.

This is the music computer. The one _all_ the music composition software runs on. I do not mess with any audio settings beyond opening up the volume box and hitting the mute button. If I messed it up I would be sleeping in the bathouse. The bats may be off hibernating right now, but the house doesn't have a floor and is 20 feet up, would be a tight fit, and would definitely be rather chilly this time of year.
