6 in quilt blocks

Any recommendations for a beginning quilter? Sites with directions?

I've looked in my files but the majority of those I think will be a little too much.

Hi Cindy, besides looking online do you have the book, "My First Quilt Book," by Carol Doaks? I'm sure I learned about this book on this group several months ago. I found a used copy on Amazon and it's like a quilters bible with all very basic block patterns and how to cut them instructions. It's perfect for a beginner, which I'm one of too. I also found if you go to Youtube, there are hundreds of online videos showing how to cut, sew, stipple, bind....you name it, for quilting. I've found those really helpful to see the process done like that. You can watch it over and over until you know how to do it. Just type in the search box what you want to learn, and there will be several choices to view. Donna
