Ooooh Just two purples.. mmhmm thanks... and.. let's see.. ohh yellow! gotta have that.. Buttercup yellow for Butterfly..heh bet she's never heard that one.. ( NOT ) spends one whole minute, just snuggling her body into the fabric, then leaps up with her bounty and keeping a sharp eye out for that elusive Lady who Lies in Wait, bowing and dropping one of the purples as tribute, runs out the door.

Oh for Heaven's sake, Butterfly. The police won't come if it's a raid on "Mom's stash". Raiding Mom's is a natural occurrence around the clock and around the world. Yesterday, DD came through and carried off: one bottle nail polish remover, a stack of dry towels (she had guests) and a huge frozen pizza. Moms expect to be raided. Just a lovely reason to buy more fabric. Polly

The Lady Who Lies in Wait sends more spry members of the commitee to serve in her stead. She hasnt had time to teach them well but they do the best they can and return home with a tasty assortment of toothsome greens and purples. Thanks for the heads up! Diana

Except I always had a nagging habit of taking that fabric she had saved just for Project neXt. My mum forbade me from raiding stash.

But that didn't stop me from showing Rose Mum's stash when we crashed at Mum's house when we went to see Weird Al in concert nearby. I don't think she's added to it since I graduated high school in 1987. It's still got a lot of lovely things in it... but we were good and didn't bring any home.

I'm revving the flaming pirate stash mobile and on my way! Giles and Spike can distract Bfly and her mama with their cuteness, and we can get down to serious raiding!

My fambly used to ask, Was that Kate or a plague of locusts? I regularly went back to college with a whole stack of stuff like towels and fabric and food... On the other hand my mother and Big Sis (with whom I shared a room) could hardly believe the stuff I managed to bring home all fitted in Dad's Golf! We did have to put the back seats down...

I don't get raided anymore...DD's got her own stash. Although, i might raid hers as my stash is remarkably short in pinks and purples and that's all she wants to buy....

DD does NOT, and I repeat, does not, have RED HAIR!
