Quilts, Inc will again be holding a show in Rosemont (near Chicago's OHare Airport) April 15 thru 18. I plan to go to the preview on Thursday evening (April 15) to shop the venders and then return on Sunday afternoon (April 18) to see the quilts. Is anyone else planning to go?

Susan, I won't be able to attend the show, but I have a quilt that will be there. My entry in the Hoffman Challenge is in the group scheduled to be at the Rosemont show, if you get a chance take a look. I am rather pleased with it, even if it didn't win.

I usually make it over for at least one day. But I haven't made any definite plans yet. Last time we went, we got stuck in a big traffic jam as we got off the freeway near Rosemont. Next time, I think I'd check a map for a way to come in on the surface streets instead. I hope to be there. If it happens to be on Sunday, I'll let you know. Kathyl
I am going to try to stop on my way through from Shipshewana. I wanted to do that last year, but I had to get back home quick.
I would be able to leave Shipshe any time on Sunday and it's a couple hours to "Chicago". Without looking do you know which area of Chicago it's in?

Lyn and I are attending the Rosemont show. We will be in a workshop on Thursday and then the preview in the evening. Since I have multiple workshops to attend, I'm going to try and check out as many vendors as possible Thursday night. Last year I was so busy I never even looked at the quilts!!We would love to meetup with you, even if for a short meetup - could be at the entrance (the back one rather than the main one) right when the doors open?

so sorry to be this tardy in replying!! Lyn just reminded me that you replied to my post and she didn't remind me earlier - she's just not on the ball these days - spring fever and all.
yes - I mean the entrance by the restaurant - but now that I think of it - we'll be staying at the doubletree hotel instead of the rosemont, which is across the street - so I think the front, main street entrance is where we'll be coming in - we'll be there when the Thursday premier opens at 6 - I'm the tall one with a green multi colored stocking cap and pom pom - with Lyn, the short one with a stylish black hat and red flower. We'll hang around until 6:15 at the latest (chomping at the bit!) and then into the show we go!!
