Carole -- that is going to be just lovely! I just went through all of your blocks... will you put them ALL in one quilt? if they are 12" blocks -- that is going to be a big quilt!
Your color choices are wonderful! Can't wait to see more! (and the finished layout!)
Carole, every month I look forward to seeing what you've done with the BOM blocks, and it's always a treat! :)
Carole, those are beautiful!
I have a futon that doesn't have a quilt as of yet..and seeing as how I LOVE Poiple..it would be PERFECT...and it is NOT king size.
Butterfly (who dearly LOVES what you are doing ; )

Oh my! I am having some serious block envy. Those are simply beautiful. I LOVE the color choices.
Thanks Donna, Pat on the Hill, Butterfly, Sharon, and L for the nice comments on my blocks and colors. I was lucky that the fabrics I chose have been working together so nicely! I guess all this practice is helping because the points and seams actually worked on that complicated Dutch Rose block, and it ended up being 12 1/2" square!!! That would never have happened in my earlier quilting days. I'm not sure what I pictured to begin with, but I've been pleasantly surprised at how well everything is coming together.
I'm presently about 1/3 of the way through attempting the daffodil appliqué even though I did the April Stars block already. If/when I get it finished, I'll post a link to it. I've adapted it a bit because on the templates provided, the leaves/stems were just to finicky for me, so I've made some slight adjustments.
Butterfly, I can't believe you have a futon that doesn't already have a quilt on it! Surely that can't be!!!!

It doesn't. It truly doesn't. The Poiple LC is for MOI (Haven't even looked for a Pro-quilter yet) and I just finished DD's Plane quilt and now I'm starting the WUH for the Bride-to-be...so a coupla other things have been set aside for now--including the Butterfly Attic Window Drape for our bedroom. I did put on the African Safari Bedspread (heavier fabric that doesn't have a backing whatsoever) that I made for DS's room when he was in Middle School...so it is covered nicely for the summer.
(((Which reminds me--Leslie--are you still going to do a Jungle Room?)))
Butterfly (and it wasn't even put on the 57 list of to-dos)
