baby quilt

Just in case you were hoping to see the baby quilt and missed my post in another thread - I finally settled on Fotki.com for my online photo sharing based on some online reviews and comparisons I found. So far, using Fotki, I've experienced no problems and no pop ups or advertising.

I have one folder loaded so far called, of course, quilts, and the baby quilt and it's backing is in there. Try to picture a baby laying in the center!

Your baby quilt is just right for a baby, and yes, I can see (in my mind's eye) a sweet newborn right in the center.

Does the pattern for #13 have a name or is it someth> Just in case you were hoping to see the baby quilt and missed my post

I'd love to know pattern name for both #14 and the table runner.

Thanks!

Phyllis - there is a name for # 13, but I don't know what it is. You know how different fabric manufacturers sometimes release free patterns in 8x10 glossies for their customers? That's what I remember. If you look at it - each square is like a large 4 patch, where each of the 4 patches is a 9 patch. Diagonally, they are mirror images of each other and it was really easy. Obviously not so easy to describe. hmph. Jessamy where are you? You could figure this one out in EQ couldn't you?

Phyllis, if Jessamy doesn't see this - you could ask her - she's very generous with this kind of thing.

Linda - the table runner is a paper pieced pattern I bought that uses pineapples. Does that make sense? I'll try to find it for you.

What a wonderful quilt, MM! "They" say that black and white is a great color scheme for a baby quilt, but you've made it so much better with those cheerful flowers around the edges -- it's really easy to imagine a baby lying in the center. :)
