Baby quilts and table runners

When at home I have tried to spend a bit of time each day sewing and have managed to get some small things finished. 2 table runners & 2 baby quilts so far.

The cake was excellent, even though I only got one small piece. After the scouts had been at it I was lucky to get even that :-)

The cake was a a chocolate sponge baked in a ring tin and after I poured on the glace icing DS2 did all the rest of the work.

Just waiting for the baby to be born to label the square quilt - he (I am told) was due on Friday.

Be my guest. It was inspired by some of Bonnie's quilts at Quiltville and I even managed to use up some fabric that has been waiting for ages to find a home in a quilt. The 4 patches were made from 2.5" squares, the sashing and cornerstones were cut at 1.5".
