Barn Print Fabric

I think I may have posted in here a long time go. To introduce myself I'm Carol Ann and live in WV. I knit and crochet and have pieced quilts.

I went to a quilt show today and fell in love with the fabric used in several quilts. There was just one vendor there selling fabric and she didn't have the barn fabric. This fabric has different barns on it and each barn has a pic of a quilt. They look like sketches done in brown on a white or cream background.

Would any of you know where I might be able to find this fabric?

TIA Carol Ann

No, thats not the one. The one I'm looking for is like a 10 or 12 inch square and it just has a pic (looks like a pen sketch) of a barn. I was told these barns come as a panel and then are cut apart to use one barn per square. At first I couldnt tell if they were embrodiery and I didn't want to touch the quilt so I asked one of the ladies from the quilt club. She said no, its just printed on.

There are different types of barns and they each have a quilt design on it. One quilt was called "Ohio Barns". Maybe thats the name of the fabric?

Hi Carol Ann,

Maybe you could ask the show organisers to ask those particular quilt makers where they got the material from. Do you know if there was a video done of the show which could show the material?

Good luck,

Nope, not that one either. I do appreciate you searching, though. I have the ladies name that made the quilts so I'm going to try to get in touch with her to see where she got the fabric.

I do have the name of the lady that made the quilts so I will try to contact her. I don't imagine there was a video made of the show. Compared to other shows in the country, this is a very small one. Very talented quilters, though.
