Batting remnants, anyone?

I always manage to buy a much larger piece of batting than I need, and of course, can't throw the remnants away.

I know there's someone here who sews for an animal rescue--I apologize, but I'm an infrequent poster and haven't quite learned everyone's identities--I was wondering if she could use them for pet quilts/beds.

I went through a phase where I was trying a different batting everytime I put together a quilt, but it's all quality stuff. They aren't small pieces, most are large enough for a throw. There is wool, polyester, polyester/cotton blend. My e-mail address is not munged. Just let me know.

There is also a couple of yards of hunter green, unusually heavy cotton fabric that is perfectly hideous and I am still in a state of shock as to why I bought it. Might be good for dogs though. I understand they're color-blind :-)

Thank you, Patti! I will be glad to get these out of here. They take up practically more room than my whole little stash, no matter how I try to store the stuff.

The reason that Jill can use ANY size piece of fabric is because she puts the scraps together using basting spray. I e-mailed her about this some time ago because I had some REALLY small pieces and she told me how she puts the scrappy quilts together. She does the same thing with scraps of batting -- sticks them to the top or the back using basting spray. This means that she can use basting spray i addition to any and all fabric or batting scraps. She told me that she even uses teensy little scraps of fabric as stuffing for the pet toys she also makes so there really isn't anything too small for her. I had several large brand new bags of poly fiberfill and she took those too. She used it in the toys, etc. that she makes. Also FYI -- I usually include ugly spools of thread and a dollar or ten with the stuff I send her. She can obviously put the money to good use. CiaoMeow >^;;^<
