Bernina Oiling Question

I somehow have misplaced my Bernina manual. I can call the store and ask, but that would make me feel really stupid. So, I'm asking here which will make me feel only moderately stupid.

Where do you oil your Bernina? I have been really good about delinting and cleaning my Bernina but I have never oiled it. Since the machine is now about 1 year old, I think I need to figure out where to oil it.

I oil & clean my machine every other bobbin change. Which model do you have? In the 200 you remove the stitch plate and tune the wheel until you see 2 little holes in the shuttle and drop 1 drop of oil. In my 153 I remove the shuttle and put a drop on the metal part and put it back in. Just that little bit of oil makes a huge difference. Don't be afraid to oil the machine it will hum along so much better. HTH

By shuttle, are you talking about the part that falls out when you open the bobbin case all the way? It looks kind of like a half moon?

Mine is a 145 so I suspect it is similar to your 153.
