Fair quilt and school

Dropped my quilt off at the fair after school today. Got some oohs and aahs from the gatherers already. Worried about some minor puckers on the back through. We shall see. Also a chance to catch a few glimpses of other quilts being dropped off. Looks like it will be a good show/fair this year. Was real busy so I didn't linger.

Survived the first day back to school. My computer lab was all out of order from the new carpet and my main office, and the two side offices for yearbook and graphic arts, seemed to have been placed in a blender on puree. All the stuff in not where it came from and is piled in boxes and on the floor and not back on the tables and bookshelves. What a mess. I suppose this would be a good time to cull out the extra junk. Books are not scheduled to be printed until next week, after classes start, and the new software from Adobe has not been released to our school yet. Hmmm, how to teach that computer class.

And our new Home Ec/FCS teacher was our social studies student teacher last year. Hasn't sewed a stitch in his life and has signed up for a few sewing classes. Beginning sewing and Creative Clothing should be interesting next year. The secretary and I think we'll be showing him a whole lot this year.

Should be fun, maybe.
