DD asked why feed dogs are called feed 'dogs'. Anyone know? Taria
I got hit with a question today too. Friend/quilter doing a Noah's Ark quilt asked me if there was really only two of 'each kind'. Nope. I showed her Genesis 7:2. "Take with you seven of every kind..." I'll bet you don't believe me. Polly
Not sure if this is why, but my grandmother (who taught me how to sew on her "red eye" treadle over 50 eyars ago) once explained that feed dogs were named such because they have little teeth.
