Find a great 4th of July sale?

If you come upon a really good deal in your online shopping, please report in. I'm predicting that there will be some nice sales before they start the 'back to school' stuff and put up the Christmas decorations. The temp here is 107°. The gators and I are going to celebrate by shopping and wallowing in the nice cool mud. Polly

the Heat of the summer here but we are gearing up for one of our favorite holidays here in the States--the 4th of July!! In celebration, we are offering three (3) of our hottest selling Americana Patterns to you for free! Place any online order of (or greater), add the patterns to your shopping cart, and you'll get all three FREE!! Of course it was a hard decision, which three patterns to chooose...well, we picked a variety and think you'll LOVE all three. The first one, Long May She Wave, is a favorite because Pat Sloan combines a penny rug, flag stitchery, and a flag tote bag!! Wow...personally I love the penny rug but all are excellent. The picture you are viewing came straight from Quilt Market from Pat's booth so you get a real feel for her Americana spirit!!

The second freebie pattern is Halle, probably one of the best ever selling Americana dolls. I absolutely love the star that Shawn did for her wings/halo. A little stitchery on her dress and a wonderful 22" inches large!

The last, although not by any means my least favorite, freebie pattern is called "Triumph of the Brave". Absolutely wonderful stitchery and a great car project or something to do while watching TV in the evening. This finished stitchery is a wonderful size, 20" x 8", so it is a long rectangular piece. Again, one of the best Americana stitchery patterns ever! Don't delay, this special is certain to go quickly! Be sure to sign-up for our free drawing off our main site at

This will be a quick newsletter as I know you may be busy today, but you still may be checking your emails. I've worked in the shop today (it is conveniently next to our house and we did the picnic/family thing yesterday), so I went CRAZY! Some of these fabrics have been here entirely too long and I want to move them out. I've marked them down 25% from our every day discounted price and the prices are good for walk-in customers as well. If you're in the area this weekend or next week, stop in and get some wonderful fabrics at a fantastic price! There are many more 25% off fabrics than shown in this newsletter. Go to the Online Catalog and click on 25% off Fabric Sale category and check out the Northcott, other Moda and others.

Zowie and wow! Yes indeed I do love the Fingerpaints; love, love the red. It's a very friendly red, just gets along with everybody and the feel of it is very nice. I'm going to try the black too. So far, I've never needed a serious occasion black; mostly I do things like big wheel tires and such. Thanks, Polly

Several quilt stores in our area have gone out of business in the past few months so I don't need additional sales. Sad to see the shops close because you know someone lost money on the business but thefinal sales were great! I tried to purchase fabric with specific projects in mind rather than "Oh that is pretty. Give me everything on the bolt!"

I have finished several projects lately. Last night as my husband looked at the stack of recently finished charity quilts he commented that he thinks it is great that I have projects lately but looking at my studio he can't see any difference.
