Beautiful! The quilting is so lovely; and the thread colour is so exactly right for the colours in the quilt. Another triumph Joan! . In message , joan8904 in Bellevue Nebraska writes
That looks great Joan. Your quilts always do though. : ) I really don't enjoy sewing flying geese but love the look so I see how yours will be one of a kind! Thanks for sharing. I enjoy seeing your work. Taria

Are you sure, Joan? It's just gorgeous! If you're tired of looking at it, I know just where I could put it .... ;)
Stunning! Thanks for posting the photo.
Have you used Carrie Nelson's method of flying geese? Painless! (Miss Rosie's Quilt Company)

I think I have tried every method ever invented for making Flying Geese. And none is painless after the first couple of hundred! :>

Beautiful work - simply stunning.
Gorgeous, Joan. I love the teeny flying geese between the rows of larger flying geese. Very eye-catching!
It is beautiful, Joan!
Beautiful!!!

You do forget some of the pain after a while, Joan. I made a king-size geese quilt about 15 years ago. I am finally able to look at one and admire it. Yours is a beauty ... doesn't tempt me but it is a beauty. Polly
I bought a panel of that waaaayyyy back in 1999 when Karen Johnson and I met up with MeSue for a trip to Q is for Quilts in Burbank, CA. I think I have a little bit left. wonder if they still make it?

Yes, they still make it, which is why I made the store sample. We have 4 or 5 different patterns. As a matter of fact,
