Does anyone here belong to this club? If so, do you like it? Do you feel it was worth it?

I just joined, after seeing all those ads for it in my magazines and the hype on the F&P site ... and I just toured the area and I just don't feel like it was really worth the money. Right now, I'm just really wishing that I was able to find a "cancel" button! Anyone have anything positive to say so I don't feel like a total schmuck??

*sigh*

TIA!!

Hugs!! Connie :-)

Quilter's Club of America? I joined mostly for the access to QNN. Joined October 26 and just got my box of freebies yesterday, December 28!

I'm on track break from school now for 5 weeks. I figured I'd really be able to take advantage of the club during this break. Holiday things won't slow down until tomorrow however. Then I'll let you know what I think.

Yes, I did in November. I love it. I really like to be able to view all of the videos. I haven't received my welcome gift pack but did receive an email that it will be here shortly. I think it's a good idea. I joined the one Alex Anderson and Ricky Timms started but do be honest, I am not going to renew that membership. I like the Quilt Club so much better.

I joined also and have not received my intoductory package either. I emailed them and got no answer. Gwen/Brooklyn

I went to the Fons and Porter website and found a great quilt pattern called with love from the heart. It was a pattern in the Nov/Dec 2007 issue of Love of Quilting. Does anyone have this that they could send to me? It is really great!

Thanks, ya'll! I was really starting to think that I'd been "had" - but if ya'll are loving it, then I'm sure I will, too!! :)

I took a look at that site and from what I could see, the blocks are just 4 hearts appliqued on a square. You can buy die cut paper heart templates (ask your quilt shop for their English paper piecing templates section) ... just arrange 4 on a block. I wouldn't EPP if I couldn't buy these templates. They range from 20-50 in a package at about $3.50/package. Best deal in the world! Lobo ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Delete the obvious to reply to me personally. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
