So, the camera battery is charging ('cause I only just remembered to check that and the memory card - oops).
Tomorrow I'm going across half my country (which is thankfully pretty small) for the annual family girls' day out. I will go with my brother GF and we'll meet with my Mum and her sister. My cousins won't be joining us this year, since one just had a baby and the other is in Egypt to study for a while.
The camera is charging because I have put myself on a pretty tight budget. For two reasons: I was in the US at Christmas, and I don't really NEED anything (or I don't know it yet!) and I just bought my first home, so I need to not spend money on all kinds of stuff that 2 months from now I will have to move :-)
So, the camera is charging - last year some of the vendors were very specific about not letting anyone take photos of their stalls, a few were very nice about it, and guess what: one fancy ruler was bought at the shop that happily let me photograph the sample quilt made with the ruler - before I bought anything from the shop. So there. The camera is charging.
I hope you all have great a great weekend, with friends or family (or both) and maybe, just maybe a little fibre related relaxation.
