Greater Chicago Quilt Show

I was just curious if anybody was going to the quilt show in Schaumburg, IL this weekend.

I'm flying to IL tomorrow to hang out with my step-mom and sister at the quilt show for the next few days!! They came down to VA in February to go to the Mid-Atlantic show, so it's my turn to go up there. What a treat!!

I can't wait. :)

Don't I wish.... but give my DS (who lives in Chicago) a hug if you see him! He'll be the cute good looking guy!

a quilting friend and I are attending the show, Friday and Saturday. We are attending a workshop Friday afternoon, but the rest of the time is unscheduled. I definitely plan on test driving every machine there, though. I'd love to meet up, maybe for lunch Saturday or supper Friday? email me at bettinger at consolidated dot net and I'll give you my cell phone number in case you're free either time. And I'm not trying to restrict us to meal times - any time works.

My Hoffman challenge quilt is in the display at the "Chicago" show this weekend. I, however, will be in Phoenix.

Do try the Tin Lizzie. Mine is on order and should be here next week. I have to get the front room cleared out and figure out how long I can set her up for. Then need to go buy the poles for it. sigh.

You ought to - it turns out that Juli has signed up for the same workshop as me, so I'll meet her there.

Kathyl, if you do pop in, call my cell. two one seven-five four nine- nine nine three four. (gosh, I hope this isn't as dangerous as giving out my credit card number!!) Even if I have it off, I'll be checking for messages frequently, as my dh suffers so terribly when I'm gone, having to get his own meals and play with my boxer dog all by himself.
